- Worked on multiple projects, publishing and presenting at multiple venues including, IEEE SSRR, RISE, and MIT URTC (See publications below).
- Participated in Robocup@Home 2017-18 and World Robot Summit 2018. Team awarded “Best in Manipulation” and “Best in the USA” for Robocup@Home 2018.
- Developed DialogflowROS, an open source ROS package for NLP using Google’s Speech & NLP APIs.

Undergraduate Research Assistant | Nov 2015 - Jun 2016
Advisor: Prof. Yingzi Lin
- Assisted with the development of a brain-computer interface based on event related synchronization/desynchronization feature extraction using LabView and C++. Presented research at RISE and ACC 2016.
- Ran experiments and collected data to train a Support Vector Machine (SVM) Algorithm.
- Conducted research on the effect of cold pain on physiological signals. Designed and ran an experiment on human subjects.

Robotics R&D Coop | Jul 2018 - Dec 2019
- Published a systematic review on the SOTA in elder care robotics.
- Conducted a market analysis and systematic review of the state-of-the-art literature in home robotics and smart homes using Six Sigma Tools.
- Designed and prototyped a proof-of-concept “clutter-cleaning” robot project. Wrote realtime servo controllers for an MCU and used NLP to control the robot using speech commands.
- Developed a technology road map for a future research/product ecosystem.
iRobot
Lead Systems Test Intern | May 2017 - Dec 2017
- Promoted to Lead Systems Engineering and Integration Test (SEIT) Intern and given responsibilities such as training new interns on various tools and machines and running workshops.
- Assembled and maintained test fixtures that push iRobot’s products to the limits.
- Programmed pneumatics, servos, and miscellaneous circuits using LabView and MCUs such as Arduino & RaspberryPi.
- Designed and built a novel optoelectronics test fixture for iRobot’s home-based product line using CAD, 3D printing, and machining.
